For dimensions, inspection covers outside diameter, wall thickness, ovality, and straightness; for non-destructive testing, Ultrasonic Testing (UT) is performed, with Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) added if necessary. Unqualified materials shall be rejected or repaired to eliminate quality risks at the source.

In the cutting process, according to the elbow radius and forming allowance, the 24 inch seamless pipe is cut to the specified billet length by means of band saw, plasma cutting, mechanical cutting, or other methods.
