C&N HONGCHENG Attends 2025 Saudi Water Partnership Company Forum

C&N HONGCHENG recently participated as a premium visitor in the 2025 Saudi Water Partnership Company (SWPC) Forum, held from November 2 to 3 at the Four Seasons Hotel Riyadh. This marked the company’s engagement in the high-profile event, where its team attended thematic forum sessions and explored the accompanying exhibition, deepening connections with key stakeholders in the Saudi water industry.

As a state-owned enterprise under Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Finance, SWPC leads the development and tendering of water infrastructure projects via public-private partnership (PPP) models, covering desalination, wastewater treatment, water transmission systems, and strategic water storage. It also serves as the primary offtaker for various water resources across the kingdom, collaborating with public and private sector partners to ensure sustainable water supply and national water security. The 2025 SWPC Forum aimed to foster collaboration among core water sector stakeholders, providing a platform to share best practices, gather industry feedback, and drive optimization—all to advance the sustainability of the water sector in Saudi Arabia and the broader Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. Open exclusively to select industry leaders, government officials, corporate executives, and key stakeholders, the forum facilitated focused, high-level dialogues to build meaningful connections and actionable insights.

During the two-day event, C&N HONGCHENG’s representative personnel participated in insightful sessions covering industry best practices (including procurement, contract management, and project legalization), PPP project outlooks (encompassing desalination, transmission, and sewage initiatives), and investment opportunities in Saudi’s water sector. At the exhibition—featuring participants such as headline sponsor MGC, exhibitors TORAY and DENORA, and media partners like Global Water Intelligence (GWI)—the team engaged with SWPC representatives, exhibition sponsors, and fellow industry players. They gained first-hand insights into Saudi’s flagship water projects, such as the Rayis-Rabigh Independent Water Transmission Pipeline, Replacement of Al-Jubail Desalination Plant Phase-2, and RRWTS (Ras Alkhair-Riyadh Water Transmission System).

For C&N HONGCHENG, this participation as a premium visitor represented a pivotal opportunity: it not only strengthened existing relationships with customers and partners in the region but also built new alliances with industry key players. The engagement allowed the company to grasp the latest market demands, technological trends, and project dynamics in Saudi’s water infrastructure sector, laying a solid foundation for future participation in local projects aligned with SWPC’s development agenda.

Looking ahead, C&N HONGCHENG is poised to leverage the insights and connections gained from the 2025 SWPC Forum to support Saudi Arabia’s pursuit of sustainable water security, contributing its expertise to the kingdom’s water infrastructure initiatives under the framework of Saudi Vision 2030.
