C&N has recently completed the procurement and commissioning of the TC-20A Automatic Digital Display Adhesion Tester, integrating it into the quality control system for core products such as pipes and flanges. The introduction of this equipment marks a step forward in the company’s anti-corrosion coating inspection toward”precision, digitization, and standardization” reflecting C&N’s commitment to advanced technology and product quality.

Professional Testing Equipment: TC-20A Automatic Adhesion Tester

Based on automatic hydraulic drive technology, the TC-20A is designed specifically to measuring the bonding strength of anti-corrosion coatings on metal substrates. With a test accuracy of 0.01MPa, it supports real-time digital display, storage, and export of data, fully complying with domestic and international standards including GB/T 5210 and ASTM D4541.

Highly adaptable, the instrument supports 10mm,14mm,and 20mm test studs,flexibly meeting inspection requirements for pipes of different diameters and flanges. It delivers stable and reliable data for both batch testing in workshops and on-site anti-corrosion acceptance. The automatic testing mode eliminates manual pressure application, avoiding operational errors and significantly improving efficiency, helping C&N establish a standardized quality control process.

Compared with traditional testing methods, the TC-20A offers three major enhancements: First, it is equipped with an intelligent error compensation algorithm that automatically correct stress deviations in testing pipe curved surfaces and flange end faces, improving data stability by 40%; Second, its built-in memory records test time, location, and operator information simultaneously, meeting the compliance requirements in the petroleum and chemical industries; Third, it supports in-vehicle charging and provides up to 72-hour battery life, enabling uninterrupted testing even at remote construction sites.

The TC-20A will fully cover the entire inspection cycle for C&N’s pipes and flanges: accurately verifying coating quality in production, certifying finished product quality with quantitative data, and providing data support for coating optimization under special service conditions (high temperature, high pressure, strong corrosion) in customized R&D.
