MSS SP 97 ASTM A182 F51 Weldolet
Weldolet is one of the most common branch fittings which is welded onto the outlet pipe. The ends are bevelled to facilitate this process, and therefore the weldolet is considered a butt-weld fitting. Weldolet are designed to minimize stress concentrations and provide integral reinforcement.
There are 3 types of O-lets: weldolet, threadolet, and sockolet.
Weldolet means butt weld connection with the pipes. threadolet has a threaded connection, and the sockolet has a socket weld connection. In addition to these three common styles, there are also elbolets, nippolets, laterolets, Flangeolet.
