In one of our order, we face a issue, ID is in over tolerance while both OD and WT is qualified. how it comes?
you know ID is equal OD deduct 2 times thickness, if the thickness norm in the tolerance -12.5% to 0. it will make
the ID have chance beyond standard required thickness range.

meanwhile, ASME B16.9 clause also mentioned purchaser shall present a specified ID requirement before order,

if produce the products ID with the required tolerance. it is suggest chose a thicker raw material than the standard,
but it would cause a higher cost.
