ASTM A182 Grade F11 is the specification of forged and rolled alloy steel pipe flange. It is primarily made from chromium-molybdenum element. It helps the product from resisting harsh environment.

It has several features and benefits, below given are some of it.

High Temperature Resistance: It has the potential to resist high temperature, which makes it applicable choice for power generation plants and refineries.

مقاومة التآكل: Due to the existence of chromium and molybdenum element, it gives good oxidation and corrosion resistance properties.

Durability and Strength: It has outstanding mechanical properties, أي. it can give high strength and durability to the product even in difficult situation.

Good Weldability: It has good welding properties which makes easy manufacturing of flanges.

Resistance to Impact: It has good impact resistance at high and low temperature both.

Alloy Steel SA182 Gr.F11 Flanges has three most common types of facing as given below:

• Ring Type Joint (RTJ)
• Flat Face (FF)
• Raised Face (RF)

Below given are the flanges which can be made by utilizing ASTM A182 Grade 11 مادة:

ASTM A182 Gr.F11 Cl2 Slip on Flange: It is also known as hubbed flange. It low-pressure flange which are thinner compare to other flange. Its inner diameter is slightly bigger than the pipes outer diameter, it slips over the pipe. A fillet weld is put in at the top and the bottom of the flange. The welding attachment increases the strength of the flange and stop leakages. Its installation process is simple hence it is low in cost.

ASTM A182 Gr.F11 Socket weld flange: It is simple in design and utilized for small-size and high pressure piping. It is been connected by inserting the pipe into the socket by applying fillet weld around outside the flange.

على 182 Gr.F11 Blind Flange: It is a flange connection which is ideal for pipeline flange which stops the flow of liquid and safely installs new pipelines. Without this flange, shutdown and repairing would be hard to handle.

Alloy Steel Gr.F11 Lap Joint Flange: It is even known as loose ring flange which slides over the pipe and used with stub end for frequent dissemble for inspection or cleaning purposes.
