C&N Group supplies 316 stainless steel nipples to Russian customer

C&N Group is pleased to announce that the Pipe Nipple parts ordered by a Russian customer have started to get inspected.

The order consists of SS 316 Pipe Nipple and Con. Swedge Nipple: the shipment is divided into several sizes, roughly as follows 1/2″ X 3″, 1/2″ X 6″, 3/4″ X 3″, 1″ X 100MM, 1″ X 6″, CONC. 1″ x 1/2″, all with a wall thickness of 80, for a total of approximately 100 pieces.

Due to C&N’s high quality standards, many tests had to be carried out during the post production inspection phase. These include visual inspections, performance tests, dimensional checks, material analysis and weld inspections, all in accordance with national, industry and internal standards.

These rigorous inspection procedures and adherence to standards ensure the safety and reliability of the forgings in service, and therefore the proper functioning of the piping system.
