What Is Pipe Spool Fabrication?

Pipe spools are fabricated off-site to cut down on assembly time with various raw pipes and pipe fittings. They include flanges, elbows, tees, and more. Raw pipes are pre-cut to precise sizes together with pipe fittings and other components. They are temporarily fitted together, and this partially finished sub-assembly is welded with other spool components.

The pipe spooling process can be grouped into two phases; spool roll fitting and welding and spool permanent position fitting and welding.
